A question I’ve been asked my whole life. It’s right up there with “where’s your other home?”

This photo is of Gary during a game of pond-hockey… on a cranberry bog. That, my friends, is top of the list for what we do here in winter.

I’m amazed at the amount of birds still chirping their way through the chilly January month. Two swans were relaxing on the pond next to this bog today, and the blue birds have been busy chipping away at the homemade suet in our yard.

Tomorrow we’re off to the outer-Cape for a visit to the Atlantic Spice Company and drive-bys of the beautiful winter beach scenes.

But don’t get me wrong. We’ve booked multiple ski weekends in Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire to finish off the winter!
