This one was mine – all sixes (this is starting to sound weird) – to start off the lucky streak! Chris rolled Yahtzee twice, however, which meant Kevin was the only one to miss out. But you can imagine we roared and cheered enough for everyone each time!

I’ll come back to share the link with you, because we highly recommend this particular ski house the next time you’re looking! All features, decor and amenities were perfect and well thought out.

It was the kind of skiing where you wake up whenever, make coffee and a nice breakfast, take time to change and adjust the gear properly, take funny photographs along the way, and quit as soon as wings at the brewery start to enter your mind. Had it dumped a foot of snow the night before and warmed up, we might have felt a little differently about it. Sunday was a longer ski day in the sunshine.

This weekend we’re off to Vermont to ski Sugarbush and Mad River Glen, so the plan states at least. The Pashby Orphanage will be in FULL effect.

THEN it’s spring.

Uncle Gary called on his old ski-school training to help the girls along, and it was great to get in some turns with Eric as well. The rope tow at Magic Mountain proved to be the most difficult for all of us!

Actual Presidents Day Monday resulted in new tires on my car, which were very much overdue, and a ’sesh of very hot yoga at the Yoga Center of Cape Cod. Yoga’s a funny thing… the breathing, the meditation and the self-awareness aspect might scare some people off, but I’m finding it to be just what the doc ordered. Only prob is that I can’t find classes to attend when and where I want to attend them.

Anyhooo… Gary went home sick today. The virus has penetrated our walls. If we can fend it off, there will be more skiing in our future this weekend.
